Legiony
Join us at Olavshallen in Trondheim for a special screening of the film Legiony (2019), directed by Dariusz Gajewski. The film tells the story of young Poles who joined the Legions during World War I — a powerful portrayal of courage, friendship, love, and the struggle for an independent Poland. It features both fictional and historical figures, including Józef Piłsudski, Zbigniew Dunin-Wąsowicz, and Stanisław Kaszubski (“Król”).
After the screening, join us for an online Q&A session with director Dariusz Gajewski — a unique opportunity to learn more about the creative process behind the film and its historical background.
This event is organised by Bi med! Polskie Centrum Integracji, in collaboration with Olavshallen and Cinemateket Trondheim, to celebrate Poland’s Independence Day and honour the enduring spirit of the legionnaires.

Bli med oss på Olavshallen i Trondheim for en spesiell visning av filmen Legiony (2019), regissert av Dariusz Gajewski. Filmen forteller historien om unge polakker som sluttet seg til Legionene under første verdenskrig – en sterk skildring av mot, vennskap, kjærlighet og kampen for et fritt og uavhengig Polen. Den viser både fiktive og historiske personer, blant annet Józef Piłsudski, Zbigniew Dunin-Wąsowicz og Stanisław Kaszubski (“Król”).
Etter filmvisningen inviterer vi til en digital Q&A-sesjon med regissør Dariusz Gajewski – en unik mulighet til å høre mer om hvordan filmen ble laget og om dens historiske bakgrunn.
Arrangementet er organisert av Bi med! Polske Integreringssenter, i samarbeid med Olavshallen og Cinemateket Trondheim, for å markere Polens uavhengighetsdag og hedre den utrettelige ånden til legionærene.
